Blue Bay Divers starts and dives with 4 Boats: „SMILEY“ „ENJOY“ „HAPPY“ und „NEMO“

All dive locations are reached by boat, so a reasonable amount of time is spent on board a boat. So the trip to the dive spot, the preparation for the dive and the time in between dives should be as comfortable as possible. “Happy” and “Enjoy” have a Toilet on board.

We have designed our boats to provide comfort combined with convenience. The boats differ in the size and are built for a maximum of 2, 4 or 6 guests. With a maximum of 14 guests at our resort, the boats are never crowded. On longer trips cool soft drinks, tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit are available on board.

A large cabin provides shelter from the rain and sun, but if you like, you can sunbake on the bow deck. Dive gear is stored and prepared in the back area. Entering and exiting the water is easy and you are welcome to put your gear on and take it off in the water. Sometimes we also visit remote dive sites e.g. Trips to Bunaken or Lembeh. For that our boats are designed to withstand strong winds and heavy seas and the sometimes fickle weather conditions of these tropical waters. Three or two outboard motors propel the boats.

Life jackets, an emergency kit, oxygen tank and spare parts for diving equipment are kept on board. “Happy” provides electricity 220/230 volts to recharge camera batteries necessary. Fresh Water for the cameras is also onboard. All our boats are equipped with navigation lights.

NEMO is the Speedboat for the pick ups and drops from and to the mainland as well as from and to Bunaken or Lembeh. Its small and fast. The fiber glas speed boat was built specially for Blue Bay Divers. With NEMO the transfers for our guests will be more easy and flexible. We can pick up or drop our guests directly from and to Bunaken or Lembeh. The Speed boat has space for 4-6 passenger, depends from the luggage. NEMO is equipped with to 50 Horse power benzin engines and make a fast and low noise trip possible.
